The GAIMIN Single Sign-On (SSO) Upgrade: All you need to know
Deadline: February 28, 2025 – Don’t miss out on seamless access to all GAIMIN platforms & features from one account.
GAIMIN is excited to announce a major upgrade to our ecosystem. We’re introducing a Single Sign-On (SSO) system, allowing you to access all GAIMIN platforms—gaimin.gg, gaimin.fan, and gaimin.cloud (coming soon) —with one unified account. It also gives you seamless access to our premium features like our upcoming Smart Wallet. This update will make your experience in the GAIMIN ecosystem more user-friendly, secure, and streamlined, giving you one easy access point to interact with all GAIMIN products and services.
Here’s everything you need to know about the SSO upgrade and why it’s essential to update your account by February 28, 2025.
What is GAIMIN’s New SSO?
In case you aren’t familiar, a Single Sign-On (SSO) is an identification technique that allows users to utilize a single set of login credentials to access several websites and applications. SSO makes it easier for users to authenticate, regardless of the domain, platform, or technology being used. Managing several usernames and passwords for different accounts via different databases can be resource-intensive, SSO makes it easier to manage these identities.
GAIMIN’s new Single Sign-On (SSO) also works on the same mechanism, allowing you to use a single GAIMIN account to access all our platforms. Whether you’re monetizing your PC through the gaimin.gg app, engaging on our gaimin.fan platform, or exploring cloud solutions for your business on gaimin.cloud, one account, and one identity will give you access to all these.
Why This Matters:
- Seamless Access: No more juggling multiple accounts with different sign-in details—use one login info for all things GAIMIN.
- Data Security: Our SSO includes advanced security features to protect your data. Also migrating to the SSO-enabled version of your account ensures that data from your previous account is not lost.
- Safeguard of Assets: One of the key reasons why you have to migrate to your SSO-enabled account is to safeguard your GAIMIN assets from your previous account. Failure to migrate to SSO might lead to asset and data loss.
- Integrated Wallet: Our SSO system will serve as your identity mechanism for the upcoming GAIMIN Smart Wallet, a secure way to manage your digital assets in the GAIMIN ecosystem.
Our CEO, Martin Speight, calls the SSO the foundation of our future innovation. In his words, he says, “We’re committed to providing our users with a simpler and safer way to navigate the GAIMIN ecosystem… The new SSO is the foundation for our future innovations.”
How to Upgrade my GAIMIN Account to SSO
Upgrading to the new SSO system is simple, just follow the two simple steps below to ensure a smooth transition:
Step 1: Click the Prompt
When logged in on any GAIMIN platform—gaimin.gg, gaimin.fan, or gaimin.cloud, you should have been presented with this pop-up notice, prompting you to update your account by signing up again. Please click the “Sign Up Again Now” button. Clicking this will start the signup process again on the GAIMIN platform you are currently on. If you attempt to close this popup without migrating (which we strongly advise against), you will be shown the confirmation message below.
Step 2: ‘Re-signup’ with your previous details
To ensure that all your previous data is automatically migrated, please make sure you sign up again with the same email you currently use on the GAIMIN platform you are on. Using a different email address will create a new account, which won't link to your existing data on our platform.
If you don’t remember the email you used to open your current account, go to the profile section of the platform to access your account information, email included. Then go ahead and re-register for an account with these same details.
Step 3: Setup your Recovery Password (for the GAIMIN Smart Wallet)
Finally, you will then be redirected to set a recovery password for your GAIMIN smart wallet. This new version of your GAIMIN account automatically comes with the GAIMIN Smart Wallet (GSW). This is the wallet through which you can send, receive, store, buy, and sell blockchain assets within the GAIMIN ecosystem.
Since GAIMIN doesn’t control nor have access to your wallet, your recovery password is the only way you can regain access to your account, in any event, you lose access to your account. Please save this password carefully, if you forget your recovery password you will lose access to your smart wallet along with the assets in it!
4. Process Complete
Once you have completed all the steps above, congrats, you will see a pop-up stating that you have successfully migrated and enabled the SSO upgrade on your GAIMIN account!

How to Succesfully Upgrade your Account and Complete the SSO Migration
Key Benefits of Updating Now
- All-in-One Convenience: One account for everything—gaimin.gg, gaimin.fan, gaimin.cloud.
- Better Security: The SSO is built with advanced encryption and protection mechanisms to secure your account and data.
- Future-Ready: Your SSO account will be the gateway to new features, including our integrated Smart Wallet.
One of the most exciting aspects of this upgrade to a Single Sign-On (SSO) system is the integration of the GAIMIN Smart Wallet (GSW). This wallet will:
- Be linked to your new SSO account.
- Allow for easy management of your digital assets across all GAIMIN platforms.
- Require a secure recovery password during setup—this password will be essential, so do not lose it.
(FAQs) You might be asking…
How do I migrate my GAIMIN account to SSO?
Follow these steps:
- Click the “Complete Migration Now” button in the migration pop-up message.
- Re-sign up using the same email from your old GAIMIN account.
- Set up your wallet recovery password—store it securely, as GAIMIN cannot retrieve it if lost.
What happens if I don’t migrate my account by February 28, 2025?
If you fail to migrate before the deadline:
- You will no longer have access to your old GAIMIN account as access will be restricted
- After the migration period, GAIMIN will transfer your GMRX assets from your GAIMIN account to your connected Venly wallet
- You will only be able to manually retrieve your assets from your Venly wallet after February 28, 2025. Users without a previously connected Venly wallet may risk losing access to their data and assets.
Note: As Venly is a third-party application, you will have to contact Venly directly for any issues/questions regarding your assets. GAIMIN is not responsible for any asset loss on your restricted GAIMIN account.
Can I cancel the pop-up and complete the migration another time?
Unfortunately, the pop-up for the migration is only one-off during this phase, hence we would recommend you to complete the migration immediately and not close the pop-up migration prompt. If you cancel the pop-up without successfully migrating to the SSO account, you will only be able to migrate manually!
What should I do if I close the migration pop-up by mistake?
The migration pop-up appears only once. If you accidentally close it before successfully migrating during the automatic migration, make sure your Venly wallet is connected to your GAIMIN account and wait until after February 28, to manually retrieve your GMRX assets from your Venly wallet.
Can I use a different email during the migration process?
No. You must use the same email as your old GAIMIN account to ensure your account, data, and assets are successfully linked to the new SSO system.
What if I use a different email for the SSO registration?
If you use a different email than your current one, your new account will not be linked to your existing data, leading to potential access issues. If you would want to “continue from where you stopped”, make sure to sign up again using the email currently associated with your GAIMIN account.
Can I change my email address during the registration process?
With the new GAIMIN SSO, emails are the unique identity of each account. Hence, your email represents a particular account and can’t be changed. It’s recommended that you use your current email for the initial registration.
What if I have multiple GAIMIN accounts with the same email?
Before our SSO, one could technically have accounts on various GAIMIN platforms, for example on the GAIMIN app, fan platform, and Game Dev Portal. But with our SSO, that scenario has been eliminated, since its key purpose is to generate one user login detail that will be used across all GAIMIN platforms. So if you had accounts on multiple GAIMIN platforms with the same email address, upgrading your account to SSO with that email on one platform automatically updates that info on our other platforms. This means that you wouldn’t need to re-sign up on each GAIMIN platform where you had an account with that email.
What if I have multiple GAIMIN accounts with different emails?
If you have multiple accounts on GAIMIN with different emails, you would need to migrate your GAIMIN account for each email address. This means that you will have to complete the SSO migration separately for each of the GAIMIN accounts that you own.
How do I know if my update was successful?
If your SSO upgrade was successful, you will receive a pop-up at the end of your migration process stating that it was successful. You’ll also be able to access all GAIMIN platforms seamlessly with one SSO account, without the pop-up appearing on your account again.
What if I don’t have a Venly wallet connected to my old GAIMIN account?
If you don’t connect a Venly wallet before the deadline and fail to migrate to the new SSO system before the automatic migration period expires, you may lose access to your data and assets. As Venly is a third-party application, we would recommend you contact Venly directly for further support.
What is a wallet recovery password, and why is it important?
The wallet recovery password allows you to regain access to your Smart Wallet if you forget your login details. GAIMIN cannot retrieve or reset this password for you, so keep it somewhere safe. Losing it could mean losing access to your wallet and its assets.
How do I retrieve my assets if I miss the February 28 deadline?
If you miss the migration, assets can only be retrieved manually if a Venly wallet is connected to your old account.
Will I still have access to my assets on Venly after migration?
Yes. Assets linked to your Venly wallet will remain accessible even after migration, as long as your wallet was previously connected to your GAIMIN account.
